These are a great addition to any turbocharged vehicle because their main intended purpose is to contain and trap extreme heat generated from the turbocharger so that you can protect the surrounding engine components from heat exposure. This is also a great option for those of you with a top mount intercooler setup that needs extra protection from heat soak which can affect your performance.

Torque Solution designed this blanket with protective wire mesh along with insulated fiberglass layers, as well as an external silicone/fiberglass layer.

This particular turbo blanket can withstand 2000°F in direct contact, and 2800°F intermittent heat.

Note that this blanket will come with a carbon fiber finish, and will fit T4 framed turbochargers.
